What to ask before you book
- Is our room in the castle itself? Some castle hotels also have rooms in lodges, courtyards or newer wings. Ask which building your room is in.
- Which room has the four-poster or the tower view? Where a hotel names a special room, ask for it by name and check it is on your confirmation.
- What is included? Ask whether breakfast, dinner and spa time are in the rate or extra.
- Can you mark the occasion? Tell the hotel you have just married when you book and again at check-in.
